Russian lawmaker expresses support for Israelis after Jerusalem synagogue attack

According to Deputy Speaker of Russia’s Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev, terrorism is unacceptable anywhere at any time

MOSCOW, January 27. /TASS/. Deputy Speaker of Russia’s Federation Council (upper parliament house) Konstantin Kosachev on Friday conveyed the words of support for the Israeli people following an attack on a synagogue in Jerusalem.

"Terrorism is unacceptable anywhere at any time. The terror attack on a synagogue in Jerusalem today, on Holocaust Remembrance Day, is especially unacceptable, especially shameless and especially heinous. Israel, we are with you," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The Israeli police said on Friday that seven people were killed in a terror attack at a synagogue in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood of Jerusalem. The shooter was neutralized.
