MOSCOW, December 21. /TASS/. Russia's first family theme park based on the animated series The Fixies will open in January on the territory of the Central Children's Store on Lubyanka in Moscow, a TASS correspondent reports from the technical opening of the park.
"Today we are doubly pleased to open the doors of Fixipark because The Fixies celebrates its birthday precisely in December. <...> We want Fixipark to open its doors in January not only to Moscow residents, but also to city visitors. So that it becomes a place for families, so that the park becomes a place where families can have fun," said Yulia Nemchina, the CEO of the Riki Group of Companies.
Speaking to reporters, she noted that the target audience of the new park will be the people who watched the animated series. The Fixies is the flagship project, which is known to all Russian children. "The park of about 2,000 square meters should be cozy, technological, neon and be a beacon of children's creativity, invention and some things they could discover from a scientific point of view. We expect that this is not the last opening of the park, but the fact that this is the first, exclusive and the largest - it is for sure," said the Riki CEO.
According to the company's press service, the park aims to immerse its young guests and their parents in the world of fixies - small heroes who can live in cars and appliances, are well versed in technology and can give useful advice. Fixipark includes a theme park with attractions ranging from interactive games, where children help the fixies in their everyday activities, to multi-level mazes, as well as an area for children's parties and classes, a disco area and a brand store.
The park will be a mix of entertainment and education. "We have a lot of different programs planned, there will be educational developmental programs, master classes, which always attract children, because they always see a result at once, learn something new. Moreover, we managed to create several unique locations, which, using traditional mechanics - jumping, running, climbing and outdoor activities, also tell, for example, about how lasers work, about the force of current and so on. We hope that this will create a more interesting format than just an activity park," Fixipark CEO Oleg Gombozhapov told reporters.
