Inter RAO to export about 2.1 bln kWh of electricity in Q1 2024

This is higher than the indicator in the business plan but slightly lower than the last-year value, the Executive Board member of the Russian energy company noted

SIRIUS /Federal Territory/, March 27. /TASS/. Electricity exports of Inter RAO are expected to be at a level of 2.1 bln kWh, Executive Board member of the Russian energy company Alexandra Panina told reporters on the sidelines of the Atomexpo-2024 forum.

"The first quarter has almost ended; preliminary results are already available. We expect to have the supply volume of 2.1 bln kWh as of the end of the first quarter; probably slightly more," Panina said. This is higher than the indicator in the business plan but slightly lower than the last-year value, she added.

Electricity is currently supplied to eleven countries, including Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, and Armenia, Panina noted.
