SHANGHAI, November 8. /TASS/. Russia’s weapons exporter Rosoboronexport holds China’s industrial boom in high regard, in particular, its rapid progress in aviation and unmanned technologies, Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev said in a video message at the opening of the company's exposition at the 14th international Airshow China, being held in the Chinese city of Zhuhai (in the southern province of Guangdong) from November 8 to 13.

"Rosoboronexport is delighted with the rapid pace of development of Chinese industry. I especially want to note the strong growth of aviation and unmanned technologies in China," he said.

Rosoboronexport is a traditional participant in Airshow China, which started in Zhuhai more than a quarter of a century ago, becoming one of the largest in the world.

"Today, despite quarantine restrictions, Rosoboronexport participates in the exhibition in a full-fledged format. We are proud to represent Russia and the Russian defense industry. We have a great deal to demonstrate to our partners. Rosoboronexport presents the best Russian aircraft and helicopters, effective weapons, and the latest solutions in the field of air and missile defense systems," Mikheyev said.

"I am sure that joint work with the leadership of the People's Liberation Army of China and Chinese companies at the exhibition will produce new mutually beneficial agreements. We are open to cooperation in high-tech areas," he concluded.

This year, Rosoboronexport will present the S-400 Triumph and S-350E Vityaz anti-aircraft missile systems at the air show, as well as other types of aviation equipment and modern aviation weapons, the company's press service reported earlier. Corresponding presentations of various equipment and weapons will be held at Rosoboronexport’s stand.

The company will also demonstrate the Su-57E fifth-generation fighter, Su-35 multi-role super-maneuverable fighter, Su-34E fighter-bomber and MiG-35 multi-role fighter - both single and double seaters. Considerable interest at the exhibition is expected in Russian military helicopters Ka-52, Mi-28NE, and Mi-171Sh, the press service noted.
