BEIJING, June 23. /TASS/. China is calling for better coordination of macroeconomic policies and ensuring stable supplies and production chains, Chinese leader Xi Jinping said at the opening of the 14th summit of the BRICS group of countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) on Thursday.
"It is crucial to pool efforts to restore the economy, enhance macroeconomic coordination and maintain the unhampered operation of production and supply chains," he said.
"It is necessary to build an open global economy, to mitigate the significant risks facing global development, and to ensure an even greater degree of inclusiveness," he added.
