MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has signed a decree postponing the April 13 parliamentary election until May 20, the Syrian leader’s office said on Saturday.

"Implementing measures imposed by the country’s leadership to contain the novel coronavirus [spread], the Syrian president signed a decree postponing the parliamentary election scheduled for April 13 until May 20," the statement says.
