Putin highlights civilian potential of UAVs

The head of state emphasized that UAVs are beneficial "not only for military purposes but, above all, for the civilian economy, agriculture, industry, and transportation

MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin agees that UAVs are highly valuable not only for military applications but also for the civilian economy.

"There is no need to focus exclusively on the military aspect of UAVs," Putin said. He emphasized that UAVs are beneficial "not only for military purposes but, above all, for the civilian economy, agriculture, industry, and transportation.

He added that Russia has numerous modern and rapidly expanding enterprises specializing in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles.
