Russian investigators open case over Ukrainian troops' blowing up of Sudzha gas station

The investigation established that on March 20, Ukrainian servicemen, having illegally entered Russian territory, intentionally detonated the Sudzha gas distribution station

MOSCOW, March 21. /TASS/. The Russian Investigative Committee has launched a criminal case after the Ukrainian armed forces detonated the Sudzha gas distribution station, the agency’s spokeswoman Svetlana Petrenko told TASS.

"The Main Military Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case based on a crime under Article 205 of the Russian Criminal Code (‘Terrorist Act’)," she said.

The investigation established that on March 20, Ukrainian servicemen, having illegally entered Russian territory, intentionally detonated the Sudzha gas distribution station. As a result, the facility was severely damaged. "During the preliminary investigation, all those involved in this crime will be identified and brought to justice," Petrenko concluded.
