Ukrainian counterattack in DPR fails, republic’s head says

"Practically along the entire frontline we are observing a consistent advance by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation," Denis Pushilin stressed

DONETSK, February 11. /TASS/. Russian units have been advancing along nearly the entire frontline with the adversary’s attempts to counterattack in the Krasnoarmeysk area in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) being unsuccessful, regional head Denis Pushilin told the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

"Practically along the entire frontline we are observing a consistent advance by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. <...> In the Krasnoarmeysk area, we saw the enemy attempting to counterattack but that did not result in anything positive for the adversary. We see that currently the Russian Armed Forces are fully in control of the situation," Pushilin said.

He added that in the area of Velikaya Novoselka, Russian units continue to expand the control zone, in the area of Kurakhovo, they are taking over the adversary’s positions, and the Russian army’s consistent advance has also been observed in the Krasny Liman area. Pushilin also noted certain progress in Chasov Yar which, along with the liberation of Dzerzhinsk, opens up prospects of liberating Konstantinovka.
