Putin, Security Council discuss impact of technological sovereignty on country’s security

MOSCOW, December 1. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed on Friday with permanent members of the Security Council an impact of the technological sovereignty accomplishment on the provision of the country's security.

"We are discussing with you a very important issue today, namely what impact the achievement of the technological sovereignty has on the provision of the country’s security," the president said opening the meeting and then allowed First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov to deliver a report.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev, Head of the Presidential Administration Anton Vaino, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, Federal Security Service Director Alexander Bortnikov, Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergey Naryshkin, Special Presidential Envoy for Environmental Protection, Ecology and Transport Sergey Ivanov and First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov.
