SOCHI, January 31. /TASS/. Issues of trade-and-economic cooperation between Russia and Belarus and joint efforts to get over crisis in the economy were in the focus of talks Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev had with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in Russia’s Black Sea resort city of Sochi, the press service of the Russian government said on Sunday.
"In an informal atmosphere, the president and the prime minister discussed issues of bilateral trade-and-economic partnership. Medvedev informed Lukashenko about his talks with Belarusian Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov that had been been held in St. Petersburg on Friday," the press service said.
The Russian prime minister and the Belarusian president also exchanged view on joint efforts to get over negative impacts of the crisis on the economies of the two countries.
