Russia invested over $29.4 bln in Kazakhstan’s economy by 2026 — Kremlin aide

According to Yury Ushakov, more than 23,500 enterprises with Russian participation are functioning in Kazakhstan

MOSCOW, May 26. /TASS/. Russian investments in the Kazakh economy totaled $29.4 bln by the end of 2025, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said at a briefing.

"Russian investments in the economy of Kazakhstan were over $29.4 bln as of the end of 2025," he said.

"More than 23,500 enterprises with Russian participation are functioning" in Kazakhstan, Ushakov noted. "More than seventy major investment projects are being implemented in mechanical engineering, automotive industry, energy, agriculture, petrochemistry, space exploration and other industries," he added.
