MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. Rosatom is ready to starting operations at the Roopur nuclear power plant under construction in Bangladesh and awaits an authorization from the local regulator, CEO of the Russian state corporation Alexey Likhachev told TASS.

"We are ready to initiate starting operations. Construction of the first unit is almost completed," Likhachev said.

Relevant decisions and permits are expected from the customer and from the regulator, the chief executive added.
