Russia’s National Wealth Fund totals 13 trillion rubles as of December 1 — ministry

As of November 1, 2024, the National Wealth Fund amounted 12.73 trillion rubles

MOSCOW, December 5. /TASS/. Russia’s National Wealth Fund (NWF) totaled 13.097 trillion rubles as of December 1, 2024, or 6.8% of GDP projected for this year, according to files released on the Russian Finance Ministry’s website.

The NWF’s volume is equivalent to $121.56 bln.

As of November 1, 2024, the National Wealth Fund amounted 12.73 trillion rubles.

As of December 1, the amount of liquid assets of the NWF was 5.792 trillion rubles, which is equivalent to $53.76 bln, or 3% of GDP projected for 2024.

The total estimated amount of revenues from depositing NWF resources on accounts in foreign currency with the Bank of Russia recalculated to US dollars from December 15, 2023 to November 30, 2024 amounted to $103.6 mln, which is equivalent to 11.16 bln rubles.

As of November 1, 219.5 bln Chinese yuan, 279.6 tons of gold and 1.43 bln rubles were on accounts of the National Wealth Fund with the Bank of Russia.
