MOSCOW, March 9. /TASS/. The board of directors of Gazprom will consider disposal of shares of Gazprom EP International, which acts as the operator of the holding’s foreign projects, at a meeting on March 16, Russia’s gas producer said in a statement on Wednesday.
The board will also discuss an increase in share capital of Gazpromviet, a joint venture of Gazprom and PetroVietnam, which has been set up for exploration and development of hydrocarbon reserves in Russia.
Gazprom EP International B.V. is the operator of Gazprom’s E&P projects abroad. The company is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Its key areas of focus include managing upstream projects, searching, evaluating, and acquiring new petroleum assets in the world’s major oil and gas regions, and representing Gazprom before foreign private and state-owned companies.
