EU member-countries paid 832 mln euro for Russian LNG in February 2025

MOSCOW, April 23. /TASS/. The European Union (EU) purchased Russian pipe gas for 582 mln euro and liquefied natural gas (LNG) for 832 mln euro in February, according to Eurostat data and TASS estimates.

Total purchases of Russian gas by the EU surged by 40% in January - February 2025 to 3.32 bln euro.

EU member-countries paid 832 mln euro for Russian LNG in February 2025, which is 23% less than in January 2025, and 28% more than in February 2024.
