ST. PETERSBURG, June 24. /TASS/. St. Petersburg shipyards are currently building more than fifty ships and vessels, Governor of the city Alexander Beglov said on Thursday at the opening ceremony of the 10th International Maritime Defense Show (IMDS) in St. Petersburg.
"More than fifty ships and vessels are under construction at St. Petersburg shipyards," Beglov said.
Both civilian vessels and warships are at the building phase, the Governor said. "These are the world’s most powerful nuclear icebreakers, warships and submarines, floating power units and other ships," he added.
