ISTANBUL, November 30. /TASS/. Testimonies given by Palestinian hostages freed from Israeli captivity will be cited in lawsuits against Israel at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands, Hamas Political Bureau member Osama Hamdan told Turkey’s Yeni Safak newspaper.
"As many as 150 of our released Palestinian brothers and sisters are now telling the whole world about the cruelty and persecution that they had to face. <…> We will accept reports and testimonies from the hostages and will use them as evidence in order to hold the Zionist government’s Minister of National Security [Itamar] Ben-Gvir accountable for the crimes he committed," the Hamas official said.
He pointed out that Hamas stood for a ceasefire. "However, if Israel wants an escalation of war, we are ready to respond with all our might," Hamdan warned.
The media reported earlier that the Israeli authorities and Hamas had reached an agreement to extend their ceasefire in the Gaza Strip by another day.
