Israel’s Defense Forces refuse to comment on airstrikes in Syria

Earlier on Wednesday, the AFP news agency reported that at least five Syrian soldiers were killed during the Israel Air Force’s attack on depots and military positions in eastern Syria

TEL AVIV, January 13. /TASS/. The Israel Defense Forces’ press service declined to comment on the reports of airstrikes in eastern Syria.

"We do not comment on foreign media reports," a spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces told TASS over the phone.

Earlier on Wednesday, the AFP news agency reported, citing the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, that at least five Syrian soldiers were killed during the Israel Air Force’s airstrikes that hit depots and military positions in eastern Syria in the outskirts of Deir ez-Zor and Al-Bukamal near the Syrian-Iraqi border.
