Shoigu offers aid to Turkish counterpart in dealing with quake aftermath

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Turkish defense minister expressed gratitude to his Russian counterpart for the offered assistance, promising to draw up particular proposals in the near future

MOSCOW, February 6. /TASS/. Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has offered the ministry’s assistance to Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar to deal with the consequences of the earthquake in Turkey, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.

"The head of the Russian Defense Ministry has offered to provide all necessary assistance of the military agency to his Turkish counterpart in dealing with the aftermath of the earthquake, including medical assistance to the victims," the statement said.
