Multipolar world to embrace all countries, peoples on equal footing, says Putin

The countries’ aspiration for cooperation already helps overcome the most acute situations, the Russian president stressed

SOCHI, November 7. /TASS/. There should be no losing countries or peoples in an emerging multipolar world and no one should feel disadvantaged, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a plenary session of the Valdai International Discussion Club on Thursday.

"In an emerging multipolar world, there should be no losing countries or peoples and no one should feel disadvantaged and humiliated. It is only then that we will be able to provide truly long-term conditions for comprehensive, just and safe development," the Russian leader said.

The countries’ aspiration for cooperation already helps overcome the most acute situations and manifests "international mainstream," Putin stressed.
