UNITED NATIONS, December 30. /TASS/. Ukrainian authorities are stationing air defense systems in residential areas in defiance of international law, Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said.

"If there is anything to talk about today, it is about actions of the Ukrainian AD systems stationed in residential quarters of Ukrainian cities in violation of the international humanitarian law," the Russian diplomat said at a meeting of the UN Security Council.

“There would be simply no victims among residents but for operations of the Ukrainian air defense,” the diplomat stressed.
