Two bridges destroyed in Crimea’s Simferopol district after heavy rains

Several roads are flooded

SIMFEROPOL, June 26. /TASS/. Two bridges were destroyed in Crimea’s Simferopol district after torrential rains and following floods, Crimea’s head, Sergey Aksyonov, said on Sunday.

"Flooding was reported in four municipalities. Two bridges were destroyed in the Simferopol district. Several roads are flooded," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to earlier reports, an emergencies regime has been imposed in the Simferopol district. According to the local administration, dozens of motorway sections and several houses in six villages are flooded. Flooding was also reported in Belogorsk and Bakhchisarai districts, and in the city of Simferopol. A mudslide occurred in Alushta. No one was hurt.
