Production growth postponement by OPEC+ not affecting Gazprom Neft plans

The company is technically ready to start oil production buildup since April 2025 in line with OPEC+ plans, CEO Alexander Dyukov noted

MOSCOW, December 13. /TASS/. The decision of the OPEC+ to postpone the start of production growth to April 2025 will not affect Gazprom Neft plans on greenfield projects, CEO Alexander Dyukov told reporters.

"The OPEC+ decision will not influence the pace of implementation of our investment projects and our plans to bring new production capacity on stream, because they mainly focus on production support beyond 2025," the chief executive said.

Gazprom Neft is technically ready to start oil production buildup since April 2025 in line with OPEC+ plans, Dyukov noted.

OPEC+ countries decided at their ministerial meeting on December 5 to extend voluntary constraints of production totaling 2.2 mln barrels daily for the entire first quarter of 2025 amid the low demand in winter.
