MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. Gas and electricity supplies are operating routinely in the city of Kolomna near Moscow, with no technological malfunctions reported, the Moscow region’s energy ministry told TASS on Friday.
"As a result of the incident in the city of Kolomna, no technological malfunctions at energy and gas infrastructure facilities have been reported," the ministry said, adding that gas and electricity supplies facilities operate routinely.
A spokesman for emergencies services told TASS that no signs of an explosion have been detected during the check of potential facilities.
Law enforcement and emergencies officers were engaged on Thursday evening to probe into reports about an explosion in Kolomna. According to witnesses, a loud whiz was heard before the blast, which was followed by smoke and glow.
