MOSCOW, December 6. /TASS/. US President-elect can help improve relations with Russia, Russian Foreign Ministry Special Representative on Humanitarian Ties, US-born actor martial arts master Steven Seagal told journalists.
"I think you know [US Secretary of State Antony] Blinken and [US 46th President Joe] Biden and all those people, they don't want anything to do with Russia in any way shape or form. They don't want any communication. They don't want any diplomatic channels. They want nothing," he said. "But Trump is coming in, and I don't think Trump feels that way at all. And, you know, I really believe that he's going to help us have better relations with Russia."
He also said that the majority of Americans like Russia, respect it and want peaceful relations with it. "And I'm proud to be a diplomat and proud to really serve the world because a real diplomat doesn't just serve their country, he serves the world by bringing people together to have fair and decent dialogue," he stressed.
