Drone downing over Russia’s Kaluga Region causes no damage or casualties — governor

The incident caused no damage to local infrastructure, nor there were any casualties

MOSCOW, December 14. /TASS/. There was no damage or casualties as air defense systems downed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the Sukhinichi District in Russia’s Kaluga Region, Governor Vladislav Shapsha wrote on his Telegram channel.

"A UAV was shot down by air defenses in the Sukhinichi District last night," the official said.

The incident caused no damage to local infrastructure, nor there were any casualties, the governor said, citing information from emergency teams working at the scene.

Earlier on Thursday, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that nine Ukrainian drones had been destroyed or intercepted over the Kaluga and Moscow regions.
