MOSCOW, September 1. /TASS/. The first free public toilet has been installed at Prospekt Mira metro station in central Moscow, the capital’s underground railway chief, Dmitry Pegov, said on Tuesday.

Passengers will have access to the platform-level facility using the Troika card, an electronic ticket from the city's public transport operator. Funds will not be deducted from the card, Pegov said.

Moscow Metro polled its passengers, who called for underground stations to be equipped with rest rooms.
