ANKARA, January 16. /TASS/. Navigation in the Bosphorus Strait has resumed after the incident with ship grounding today morning, the Turkey’s coast guard department said.

"The ship was brought afloat. Navigation in the strait was restored," the department said.

A cargo ship from Ukraine grounded in the Bosphorus earlier today and the strait was temporarily closed the coast guard department said earlier. More than thirteen coast guard boats and tugs participated in the operation to bring the vessel afloat.
