Cooperative deliveries to EAEU up by 12% in 1H of 2023 — EEC

It is also noted that an increase in cooperative supplies has been recorded in almost all priority sectors of the economy

MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. The volume of cooperative deliveries in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) increased by more than 12% year-on-year in the first half of 2023, official spokesperson of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Iya Malkina said at a briefing.

"According to the Department of Industrial Policy, in the first half of 2023, cooperative deliveries to the EAEU increased by more than 12% compared to the same period of the previous year. The best rate of increase in cooperative deliveries this year is observed in Armenia (an increase of 2.7 times), Belarus (up 37.1%) and Kazakhstan (up 29.5%)," she said.

The Eurasian Economic Commission’s representative added that an increase in cooperative supplies has been recorded in almost all priority sectors of the economy. Out of 21 industries, supplies increased in 18 and decreased in 3 industries.

The best rates of increase in cooperative deliveries are observed in publishing (2.3 times), the electron-optical industry (up 62.3%), the production of machinery and equipment (up 49.4%), and the leather and footwear industry (up 48.7). %) and the production of electrical equipment (up 36%), Malkina said.
