MINSK, October 16. /TASS/. The Belarusian government has submitted resignation to Alexander Lukashenko, who was recently elected for fifth presidential term, the cabinet’s press service said on Friday.
The press service said the resignation is envisaged in the country’s constitution.
The country’s central election commission announced the official results of Sunday’s presidential polls earlier on Friday.
Lukashenko won the presidential elections with 83.5% of the vote (5.1 million voters) on October 11.
His inauguration ceremony will be held before December 11, 2015.
