Source reveals how many people arrived in Russia from Donbass and Ukraine

In total, more than 878,000 people have arrived in Russia since February

TASS, April 19. Almost 880,000 people have arrived in Russia from Ukraine, the LPR and DPR, their number increased by almost 18,000 people in a day, the power structures told TASS.

"During the past 24 hours, more than 17,800 people crossed the Russian border. In total, more than 878,000 people, including almost 164,000 children, have arrived in Russia since February," the agency's interlocutor said.

According to him, 713,000 people evacuated to Russia from Donbass, the rest came from the territory of Ukraine.

There are more than 480 temporary shelters for refugees in 45 Russian regions. Almost 33,000 people are staying there.
