TALLINN, October 30. /TASS/. The Estonian Police and Border Guard Board has launched an investigation into the desecration of a memorial to World War II victims in the Voru county located on the border with Russia, the board reported on Tuesday.
According to a report cited by the news agency LETA, it emerged last Sunday that the burial stone of the memorial to World War II victims in the village of Litsmetsa, Antsla Parish, Voru County, was desecrated with aerosol paint. Police launched an investigation based on this fact, according to the report. The Russian Embassy in Estonia has not commented on the incident to TASS yet.
