KURSK, January 2. /TASS/. The Ukrainian forces have carried out a missile attack on a village in the Kursk Region, but so far no local residents have sought medical assistance, acting Governor Alexander Khinshtein has said.
"Today the Ukrainian forces launched a missile strike on the village of Ivanovskoye in the Rylsk district. Fortunately, at the moment none of the residents has turned to medics for assistance," he wrote."
The head of the Rylsk district, as well as all emergency response services are at the scene of the attack.
"All emergency response services, including the Ministry of Emergency Situations, are working in the field. To search for unexploded ordnance, bomb disposal technicians of the national guard Rosgvardiya have been dispatched to Ivanovskoye. The area is cordoned off by the police and volunteers," Khinshtein said.
"Repair teams will also be sent to the site today to furnish assistance and assess the damage. The heating system in the affected buildings will be restored by the evening. In the coming days we will put new windows in place," he said.
