Astra Linux OS developer plans expansion to Asian countries — CEO

The company also started the expansion of its solutions to Belarus

MOSCOW, March 2. /TASS/. Astra, the Russian developer of Astra Linux operating system, is considering an expansion of its solutions in India, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, CEO Ilya Sivtsev told TASS.

"We are looking at India, Uzbekistan, looking at Kazakhstan. Cases are small so far there but we are planning an entry in terms of infrastructure, starting from the next year," the top manager said.

The company also started the expansion of its solutions to Belarus, where the Astra Linux OS had been granted a certificate of conformance, Sivtsev noted.

The company is interacting with other countries and first small projects are already in place with CIS and non-CIS countries, he added.
