MOSCOW, December 2. /TASS/. Russian forces have maintained active defense in the Zaporozhye area in the past week as they repelled 14 Ukrainian attacks near Rabotino and Verbovoye in the Zaporozhye Region, with the enemy losing roughly 315 troops, Russia’s Defense Ministry said in a weekly report.
According to the report, in the Zaporozhye area, Russian units "delivered strikes on concentrations of manpower and equipment of Ukraine’s 71st Jager Brigade, as well as the 82nd air assault, the 33rd, the 65th and the 118th mechanized brigades near the settlements of Malaya Tokmachka and Novoandreyevka in the Zaporozhye Region."
In the past week, Ukraine’s military losses in that direction amounted to roughly 315 troops, five tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, 21 cars and five field guns, the ministry specified.

The Russian military eliminated over 880 Ukrainian servicemen in the south Donetsk area over the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"In the south Donetsk area, the battlegroup East repelled three enemy attacks. The military defeated the Ukrainian 58th motorized infantry brigade, the 72nd mechanized brigade and the 128th territorial defense brigade near Novomikhailovka, Staromayorskoye, Nikolskoye, Shevchenko, Konstantinovka and Novodonetskoye of the Donetsk People's Republic. The enemy's losses over the week amounted to more than 880 servicemen, one tank, six armored combat vehicles, 20 vehicles and five field artillery guns," the statement said.

Russian forces repelled 13 Ukrainian attacks in the Krasny Liman area in the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
"In the Krasny Liman direction, units of [Russia’s] Battlegroup Center, with support from aircraft, artillery and heavy mortars, repelled 13 attacks by assault teams of Ukraine’s 12th special purpose brigade as well as the 47th and the 67th mechanized brigades," the ministry said.
Ukrainian manpower and equipment were struck near Torskoye, Krasny Liman, Serebryanka and Grigorovka, with the enemy sustaining more than 950 casualties and losing seven armored combat vehicles and 21 cars in the past week, the ministry specified.
