MOSCOW, December 20. /TASS/. Russia’s Long-Range Aviation will get absolutely new combat aircraft next year, its Commander Sergey Kobylash has told reporters.
"We have extensive plans related to modernization and receiving new aircraft for the next year. It will be absolutely new aircraft, based on new principles, with new aerodynamic and combat features," he said.
"That is why I hope that as we will be summing up the results of our work next year, we will be able to report what kind of equipment it exactly is and how it is performing while in service with the long-range aviation," Kobylash added.
He added that the Long-Range Aviation’s modernization and procurement tasks for 2023 have been fulfilled.
