MOSCOW, December 5. /TASS/. The Russian organization of children and youth the Movement of the First has opened about 40,000 offices across all of the country’s regions, said Grigory Gurov, the group’s head.
"The Movement of the First is active wherever there are children: in schools, universities, institutions of culture, sports, extracurricular education, youth policy. There are about 40,000 branches working across all regions of our country, and everyone really helps with the establishment of this movement," he said at a meeting of the group’s supervisory board.
Gurov added that in order to make the group’s endeavors more organized, it is necessary to consider and adopt a program of its educational activities.
"The program, which we have been working on for a year, is practice-oriented and targets children and adults. It covers extracurricular and free time, the time that falls outside the regular educational process. It’s about clear and simple formulas for the education of a citizen and a patriot, which are based on traditional Russian spiritual and moral values," he said.
