The humanitarian corridor was opened the day before

DONETSK, March 4. /TASS/. The Ukrainian side hinders the safe exit of Mariupol civilians from the city, DPR People's Militia deputy head Eduard Basurin said on Friday.

"We announced yesterday that the humanitarian corridor is open, and we expect people to exit. I stated today that after negotiations between Russia and the Ukrainian authorities, we hope that in Mariupol they will allow civilians to go out along this corridor, it is the only one," Basurin pointed out. According to him, "no one has come out yet." "At the moment, there have been no people yet due to obstacles from the Ukrainian side," he specified.

"We guarantee that no one will fire from our side in this place. We guarantee from our side that the site is cleared [of mines] and people can safely get out of there," Basurin stressed.
