Kremlin voices concerns over Biden’s new remark on Putin

Dmitry Peskov pointed out that the Kremlin would keep a close eye on the US leader’s statements

MOSCOW, March 28. /TASS/. The Kremlin is concerned over US President Joe Biden’s new remark on his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and will keep a close eye on the US leader’s statements, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Monday.

"This is a statement that certainly arouses concerns. We will keep a close eye on the US president’s statements, we will take note of them and will continue doing this in the future," Peskov said.

On Saturday, Peskov told Reuters in a comment on Biden’s remark made during his speech in Warsaw that "it's not for Biden to decide" who will remain in power in Russia, stressing that "the president of Russia is elected by Russians".
