NEW YORK, January 3. /TASS/. At least two persons were killed and eighteen more sustained injuries after a small plane crashed into a warehouse building in the US town of Fullerton, in the State of California, local police reported on its X social network account.
The US-based ABC7 news TV channel confirmed the information shortly after the incident that two people were killed and 18 others were injured.
“Of the 18 people injured, 10 were taken to a hospital and eight were treated and released at the scene,” the TV channel stated. “Details on the two deaths were not immediately released.”
LA Times daily also confirmed the information citing local officials that: “Two people were killed and 18 others injured when a small plane crashed into a commercial warehouse near Fullerton Municipal Airport and started a fire.”
A small-engine plane crashed on Thursday into a building located on Raymer Avenue in Fullerton after 2:00 p.m. local time (01:00 a.m. Moscow time, January 3). The crash occurred near the Fullerton Municipal Airport. Local residents were immediately advised to leave the area of the incident.
