Tourist bus accident in Thailand leaves 27 Russians injured

BANGKOK, January 2. /TASS/. A total of 27 Russian nationals were wounded in an accident involving a tourist bus on its way to the city of Pattaya in Thailand, the Matichon newspaper said.

The bus reportedly went out of control when nearing a motorway toll gate and rammed into a guardrail. The bus was carrying 37 passengers.

All injured Russian tourists have been admitted to a hospital in Pattaya for medical treatment. The Russian embassy in Thailand has told TASS none of them have asked for consular assistance yet.
