Putin says Ukraine lost elements of statehood

The Russian president added that Ukraine is being controlled from outside

MOSCOW, October 1. /TASS/. Ukraine is losing some statehood and is unable to live separately, Russian President Vladimir Putin told the plenary session of the 23rd annual meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club.

"Ukraine, I know, and everyone knows this well, cannot exist independently. It is losing elements of statehood altogether. In my view, this is obvious. It is being controlled from outside," he said.
