Four die in Malaysian floods, over 80,500 evacuate

TOKYO, November 29. /TASS/. At least four people have died, and more than 80,500 residents have been evacuated due to extreme flooding in Malaysia, the Bernama news agency reported, citing information from the National Disaster Management Agency.

The current number of evacuees has reached 80,589. A total of 467 temporary evacuation centers have been set up for those affected. Four fatalities have been reported in the states of Kelantan, Terengganu, and Sarawak.

The natural disaster has impacted seven Malaysian states: Perlis, Kedah, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Negeri Sembilan, and Selangor, the agency reported.
