Ukraine reports tense frontline situation in Zaporozhye area

Ukrainian military commanders of various ranks have been characterizing the operational and strategic situation as complex lately

MOSCOW, March 28. /TASS/. The frontline situation in the Kiev-controlled parts of the Zaporozhye and Kherson Regions is becoming increasingly tense for Ukrainian troops, Vladislav Voloshin, a representative of the defense forces of the country’s south, said during a live broadcast on the Rada television channel on Friday.

"The situation in the south of Ukraine, including the Zaporozhye direction, begins to deteriorate further," he said.

The frontline situation in the Kiev-controlled part of the Kherson Region is also tense for Ukrainian troops, Voloshin added. "Now the situation in the Pridneprovskoye direction is, indeed, uneasy," he said.

Ukrainian military commanders of various ranks have been characterizing the operational and strategic situation as complex lately. The Ukrainian military is confronted with a shortage of manpower, which the Kiev regime is unsuccessfully trying to compensate with increased mobilization.

Desertion that sometimes occurs on a large scale also poses a problem. Meanwhile, the Kiev regime to trying to shift responsibility for the Ukrainian army’s failures to Western partners, accusing them of untimely and insufficient weapons deliveries.
