Weather in Russia kills two people, injures five over week

Falling trees caused power outages in 125,000 residential houses and around 3,000 social facilities

MOSCOW, November 25. /TASS/. Last week's severe weather caused 800 trees to fall across several Russian regions, injuring seven people and killing two, the Russian Emergencies Ministry told TASS.

"The situation was complicated by dangerous and unfavorable weather events in 39 regions. Over 800 trees fell, more than 300 cars were damaged, and 19 buildings sustained partial roof damage. Seven people were injured, two of whom died," the report says.

Falling trees caused power outages in 125,000 residential houses and around 3,000 social facilities. Efforts to restore power are ongoing.
