Hezbollah to coordinate moves with Lebanese military as part of ceasefire

Assessing the outcome of the war with Israel, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem asserted that the resistance forces had won "the greatest victory over Israel"

BEIRUT, November 29. /TASS/. Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem vowed to maintain close coordination with the Lebanese armed forces to meet the terms of the ceasefire with Israel.

"Coordination between the resistance forces and the Lebanese armed forces will take place at a high level in order to meet the obligations under the [ceasefire] agreement," he said in an address on Al Jadeed television.

According to the politician, Hezbollah will "work to preserve national unity and strengthen Lebanon's defense capabilities."

Assessing the outcome of the war with Israel, Sheikh Qassem asserted that the resistance forces had won "the greatest victory over Israel," which he said surpassed the success in the 2006 conflict in southern Lebanon.
