MOSCOW, March 28. /TASS/. The Russian army continues to comply with the terms of the moratorium on strikes against energy sites, Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
He noted however that Ukraine continued to assault Russian energy infrastructure.
"Nevertheless, such an understanding [on the moratorium] was reached with American negotiators, and at the moment our armed forces are still following the order of the supreme commander," he told a news briefing.
On March 18, in the second phone call this year between the presidents of Russia and the US, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, the Russian leader supported his US counterpart's idea of a ceasefire in Ukraine, with some reservations, and immediately ordered to stop attacks on energy facilities. Moreover, the Russian army shot down its own drones heading for such facilities. There was no reciprocation from the Kiev regime to Russia’s goodwill - Ukrainian formations continue to strike, in particular, the Sudzha gas measuring station.
