BAKU, December 25. /TASS/. When an Azerbaijan Airlines plane crashed in Kazakhstan, 32 people survived, said Kyanan Zeynalov, a spokesman for the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan.
"According to the latest data, 32 people on board the plane survived and are being treated," he said at a news conference.
According to the spokesman, an investigation is underway in cooperation with the Kazakh prosecutors.
"All theories are being studied and appropriate examinations are being carried out. An investigation team headed by the deputy prosecutor general of Azerbaijan has been sent to Kazakhstan and is working at the site," Zeynalov said.
An Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer 190 passenger plane headed from Baku, Azerbaijan to Grozny, Russia crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau earlier on Wednesday.
