Rail service between Moscow, Bishkek to restart on 18 December

The passenger rail service between the two capitals was suspended in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic

BISHKEK, November 14. /TASS/. The passenger train service between the capitals of Kyrgyzstan and Russia will reopen on December 18, Kyrgyz Temir Zholu, the national railroad operator of Kyrgyzstan, confirmed to TASS.

"The Bishkek - Moscow - Bishkek train will resume operations on December 18," a company spokesperson stated.

The train from Kyrgyzstan will arrive at the Paveletsky Terminal in Moscow. It will depart from Bishkek on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and arrive in Moscow on Saturdays and Tuesdays. "The train will depart from Moscow on Sundays and Wednesdays, reaching Bishkek on Wednesdays and Saturdays," the spokesperson added.
